Swati is an Immigration Attorney in New York City. She has successfully filed VAWA, U visa petitions, Asylum petitions, adjustments of status, and battered spouse waivers. She has worked on renewal of EADs (employment authorization documents), petitions for relatives, green card renewals, and provisional unlawful presence waivers. She has represented clients in removal proceedings in the Immigration Court as well as successfully represented clients before United States Immigration and Citizenship Services (USCIS). She has also filed the cases with Equal employment opportunity commission (EEOC).
Throughout her career, Swati has exhibited expertise in immigration issues. She has also served as a Commissioner of the Cambridge Commission on Immigrant Rights & Citizenship (CIRC) in Cambridge, Massachusetts where she dealt with immigrant rights issues in an effort to ensure equal status of individuals of every national origin, race, sex, age, and sexual preference.
Swati also volunteers for AID (Association for India's Development).
